The effectiveness of this warning device is highly dependent upon correct mounting and wiring.

The vehicle operator should insure daily that all features of the device operate correctly. In use, the vehicle operator should insure the projection of the warning signal is not blocked by vehicle components or other obstructions.

This equipment is intended for use by authorized personnel only. It is the user’s responsibility to understand and obey all laws regarding Amber warning devices.

The user should check all applicable city, state and federal laws and regulations.

Manufacturer assumes no liability for any loss resulting from the use of this warning device. Proper installation is vital to the performance of this warning device and the safe operation of the Pilot/Escort vehicle.

It is important to recognize that the operator of the Pilot/Escort vehicle can be under psychological and physiological stress caused by the requirement of the job at hand.
The warning device should be installed in such a manner as to: A) Not reduce the output performance of the system, B) Place the controls within convenient reach of the operator so that he can operate the system without losing eye contact with the roadway.
Amber Light devices, especially capacitor equipped strobe lights often have high electrical voltages and/or currents. Properly protect and use caution around live electrical connections. Grounding or shorting of electrical connections can cause high current arcing, which can cause personal injury and/or wiring overload which can lead to vehicle damage, including fire.

PROPER INSTALLATION COMBINED WITH OPERATOR TRAINING IN THE PROPER USE OF EMERGENCY WARNING DEVICES IS ESSENTIAL TO INSURE THE SAFETY OF ESCORT PERSONNEL AND THE PUBLIC.

These low-profile rotating beacons provide 160 flashes per minute and meet SAE J845 Class 1 light output. The 5800 series incorporates a silicon belt drive with stainless steel bearings for longer life and reliable service. The silicon belt is immune to UV light and heat.

Rivet Studs for roof mounting

Blind rivet nuts and blind rivet studs are specially manufactured for fastening thin walled materials and can be quickly and easily fitted to thin sheet components. Thin sheet fastening usually requires welding nuts or studs to thin sheet, or drilling and threading. It is a common problem that deformation of material or breaking of welding spots occurs by welding nuts or studs. Direct drilling hole and threading will cause loose fastening. The use of blind rivet nuts and blind rivet studs can avoid such problems. Blind rivet nuts and blind rivet studs need only a prefabricate punched or drilled hole for installation, no welding or threading is required. It can also be installed to components where access is available from one side only

HOW THE BULB-TITE WORKS:
During installation the rivet body folds into three separate legs, forming the blind-side upset head. The Bulb-tite mandrel breaks off *flush with the rivet head. *Flush mandrel break requires use of special Bulb-tite installation tool nose tip.
WEATHER TIGHT:
A special nose tip on the rivet installation tool crimps a crown feature on the rivet head. This crown-crimp effectively seals the rivet bore off from intrusion of dirt and moisture. Adding the optional washer to the Bulb-tite, creates an additional seal around the perimeter of the rivet head, to stop moisture from intruding beneath the rivet head.
HIGH STRENGTH:
Another benefit of the Bulb-tite rivetís retained mandrel core is the added strength it provides. Bulb-tite rivets are less prone to failure in high shear loads.
HIGH CLAMPING:
The large three-legged upset head evenly distributes the Bulb-tite rivetís high clamp load over a broader bearing surface than do conventional blind rivets. This enables soft, thin, ductile and even brittle materials to be securely clamped without deformation, cracking or other damage to the application.
HARD-TO-FASTEN APPLICATIONS:
Bulb-tite rivets function well in materials where other fasteners fail. The folded legs individually conform to curved surfaces enabling fastening onto pipes, corrugations and other challenging shaped applications. Oversized or elongated holes can be adequately covered by the large leg formations to resist pull through under stress in high tension-load applications.
MULTI-GRIP
CAPABILITY: Each Bulb-tite handles a wide variation in material thickness. Most sizes fasten over a 1/4" thickness range. Fewer rivet sizes may be required resulting in reduced inventory requirements and simplified fastener selection.

Plusnut blind fasteners for the most rigid fastening. A Plusnut® is a blind, threaded fastener recommended for rigid fastening in sheet metal, fiberglass and plastics. The slotted shank spreads and forms large flaps to evenly distribute working loads over a large area. Plusnut fasteners are ideal when you cannot access one side, or if it is very difficult to do so. The plusnut is easy to use, and yet maintains the strength and integrity needed for industrial or heavy duty applications.
